　　坦桑尼亚国际建材展览会由坦桑尼亚外贸委员会（BET－Board of External Trade）创办于1977年，每年举办一届，得到坦桑尼亚工业贸易部、工农业总商会等部门和机构的鼎力支持，是坦桑尼亚历史最悠久、影响最大的综合性国 际贸易博览会。该博览会的参展商主要来自坦桑尼亚、肯尼亚、乌干达、赞比亚、马拉维、津巴布韦、南非、埃及、也门、伊朗、印度、美国、日本、俄罗斯、丹麦 和中国等20多个国家和地区。该博览会共接待来自坦桑尼亚、肯尼亚、埃及等国家的观众55万人次。
